Ferrari's History
Ferrari is a brand of super sports car in Maranello (Italy).
It was founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari, with the name "Scuderia Ferrari", building competition cars, and later in 1947 started to build sports cars.
Originally, the Scuderia Ferrari sponsored drivers and cars for Alfa Romeo and Fiat. The company started producing cars in 1947.
The brand became to Ferrari S.A., in 1969, when Fiat Group became a sharesholder.
Nowadays the first sharesholder is Fiat with a 90% of the shares, a fice per cent is from a company from EAU, and the other 5 % is from Pirro Ferrari (Enzo's Ferrari son).
Enzo Ferrari never thought in to produce cars, when in 1929 he made Scuderia Ferrari, he made Scuderia Ferrari to sponsor rookie drivers, in 1940 when he known the Alfa Romeo plans to stay with her company he left Alfa.
The Scuderia Ferrari became in Auto Avio Construzioni Ferrari aparently he produced things for planes, in that periode he made the first Ferrari called type 815, it compited very little time because of World War II, in 1943 the factory moved to Maranello, It was bombed in 1944 and 1946 it was rebuilt to produce street cars.
The first street car was called Ferrari 125 S, Enzo made and built cars to finance the Scuderia.
Ferrari cars are known for it quality. Enzo Ferrarie died the 14 August of 1988, the last Ferrari presented before he died was the Ferrari F40, but his company still being one of the best cars company in the world.
