The Skateboarding



The skateboarding is a sport and a lifestyle, it's practiced with a skateboard in skateparks, streets or every place you can skate.
The skateboarding is not a competitive sport, (it has competitions) but you can freely skate, the objective is to find beauty going with the skateboard. The skateboarding has a lot of tricks, varying the difficulty, the tricks where the wood from the skateboard is slipping is called slide, noseslide, boardslide, and when the trucks are slipping the tricks are called 50-50, 5-0, nosegrind, etc.
It has freestyle tricks (these one are more difficult), the tricks that are done on ramp, and the normal tricks like kickflip, heelflip, etc.
In the 60's the skateboard won a lot of affluence, over all in surfist people.
The Mahaka company done the firsts proffesional skateboards in 1963, the first skateboard competition was in 1963, in Pier Avenue Junior School, in California.
In 1965 the skateboarding the popularity of the skateboarding come down, the clay wheels were very dangerous and a lot of cities banned the skateboarding, but in 1970 Frank Nasworthy created the urethane wheels.
In 1974 the skateboarding change form other level when John Trullenque created the "ollie"
The first outdoor skatepark was made in Florida in 1976, later a lot of skateparks were made in North America.
In 1986 the street style were the most important in the world of skateboarding and a lot of people were doing skate in the streets of their cities.
At last in 1995 the XGames welcomed the skateboardig, and a lot of companys were investing money in it.
Nowadays the skateboarding is knowed and practiced in all the world.
